Tony Czar Supporting Dance Mogul Magazine

Dance Mogul Magazine Exclusive…

Thanks to Tribe Body Dance Studio Dance Mogul Magazine had the opportunity to cover Tony Czar’s workshop in Ramsey NJ. From Washington D.C. comes Tony, who grew up in a military family, as both his mother and father worked in the Air Force. His mother used to be a b-girl street dancer and later influenced him to dance. Tony soon aspired to become a performer and moved to Los Angeles with only $600 and a garbage bag of clothes. Upon arriving, he had no place to stay and was homeless for a month. After watching the hip hop group, Culture Shock, perform, he was inspired to pursue dancing. After moving to Washington, D.C., he joined their group at the age of 16. As a dancer, he toured with Ginuwine and as a singer, he did backup for Yolanda Adams and P. Diddy. He likes all kinds of music and is currently working as a hip hop and house instructor at Debbie Reynolds, International Dance Academy and EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. He has worked with Britney Spears, Jason Derulo, Jessi Malay, and Iyaz as an assistant choreographer. Also, He has traveled and taught around the world such as Poland, Italy, United Kingdom, South Africa, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Guam, and Russia. Very outgoing and fun to be around, Tony is a well-rounded person who is strong-willed and adapts well to new situations. Due to his parents’ line of work, he was forced to frequently move around the country and rapidly adapt to various new environments. He admits that he is a hard worker who will do what needs to be done to achieve his goals. Recently He has started his own company called “Urban Empire”. Urban Empire is the community of artists who actually care about the growth of skill, knowledge, soul, and respect for their art, and also has a clothing line. He has released his first instructional DVD with Lil Bigz, too.
