The purpose of the FP Healthy Olympics was to engage the communities in the five wards within the city of Newark, New Jersey to foster collaboration among officials, businesses, communities, neighborhoods and individuals to encourage physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.

· Competitive play such as scooter races, potato sack races, dodge ball and sprints.

· Health tips and instructions on how the games can help their muscles and cardiovascular system.

· Healthy snacks and guidance on alternatives for their daily food choices.
